Our Services

Occupational Health Services (OHS) provides services to researchers and personnel working with or exposed to:

  • Biohazardous materials, such as human bloodborne pathogens, cell lines, or tissues
  • Animal research exposures
  • Hazardous materials, such as chemical, physical, or radiological agents 

 OHS offers these services to Harvard affiliates at no cost.

Location and Hours

Our locations are by appointment only. Email ohs@harvard.edu to schedule an appointment.

All medical emergencies: Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

Non-emergency research exposures: Call the Exposure Response Call Center (ERCC) at 1-866-360-8100.

The ERCC is an additional resource for exposure risk assessments and does not provide acute medical care. For medical emergencies, call 911.
